You're now looking at System.io. System.io is an all-in-one marketing platform. It gives you the ability to create sales funnels as well as use its email marketing services. It allows you to build entire websites and to have your own private affiliates programmes. You can use it to host and create your online courses and you can implement marketing automation, including funnel creation. The platform does have connexions to third-party cloud-based connector, Zapier, and will allow you to connect with your other cloud-based systems. And if you look at the pricing table, you will see some of the other features that it has available. This pricing is available as of the recording of this video. There are connexions to payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal, RazorPay, and FlutterWave, and in addition to the platform allowing you to run your own affiliate programme, you can become an affiliate of System. Io, and you can market to other individuals that may need access to the platform. You're able to test the entire system free, have up to 2,000 contacts, build three sales pages with 15 funnel steps and one blog as well as one course that you can deliver. So what we're going to do is we're going to start with the free plan.

So we're going to click this link and we're going to sign up for System. Io. Now, as the recording of this video, we did get the offer to upgrade to an annual plan and to do so at a discount. What we're going to do is we're going to stop the video here and we're going to pick it up from the confirming part of our account and getting started with System. Io. You should see an email in your inbox where you can click on the confirmation link and if you are still in your browser, it will go back to the System. Io and this is where you will create your account. Once you have confirmed, you will then have access to the dashboard, which is fairly intuitive. If you need to add contacts, you can add them here with their email. Use the email address. You will build your sales pages in the Funnels area if you intend to use the email system where you want to send broadcast emails as well as auto responder emails. You can do that from the Email tab. If you are going to write a blog and use System. Io, you can use this tab for your blog.

If you're going to be doing automations within System. Io, you can use the Automations tab. And when you set up your courses and digital products, you can set them up here in this area. One of the things you'll notice is that System. Io gives you the ability to also market and sell your physical products using the system. You will be able to track your sales here in this area, as well as to track your affiliate programme for your individuals that are generating sales for you. To manage your subscription, you'll be able to go to your tab. You'll be able to click on the settings area and you're going to see all of the elements of your subscription. And typically you will have started at the free plan. But if you upgrade, you'll see that here your integrations, such as your payment systems, you'll see them here in the payment gateways area. You'll also connect them here in this area. If you have individuals that are subscribing to you, you will be able to see them here in this area in terms of the emails that you have collected, you'll be able to see them here in your settings area.

In all of your course content, you'll be able to see here in this area at a glance in terms of your payment pages and disclosures. You'll be able to see them here in this area. Your sales funnels and tracking codes you'll be able to see here in this area. You'll be able to track your affiliate programme here in this tab in terms of your custom domains. What you're going to see here is that you're going to start with a domain name given to you by System. Io. You can integrate Active Campaign directly with System. Io. You'll be able to track your affiliate payments here in this area in terms of notifications when something is happening in your account, you'll determine it here in this area. When you have individuals helping you, you'll be able to issue them with invites here from this page. And in terms of managing your password, you'll be able to do it from this area. Now, one of the first things you're likely to do is you're likely to set up your own domain. You can use the system domain, which is generated for you by System. Io. However, you can add your own custom domain to the brand and personalise your account.

Now, in order to set up our custom domain, we're going to use GoDaddy. Now, System. Io has specific instructions for GoDaddy and other domain name registrars. You are going to need to pay attention to their instructions for the registrar that you have. Now, the area where we'll be primarily be working will be the DNS area and we'll need to make sure to get our instructions from System. Io interface. You will come into your custom domain area. You'll click on Add a Domain. You're then going to type in www. And your domain name and you're then going to click Save. You'll see a pop-up window with values that you'll need to place at your domain name registrar. The first value you're going to copy here in this area. You'll then head back to your domain name registrar. You will then add a new C-Name record. We're going to place in C-name. We're going to write in www. And we're then going to write in the value. Now again, the instructions that we're using are specific to GoDaddy and they're specific from System. Io. If you're not using GoDaddy or you're using another registrar domain name, then you are going to want to get the registrar specific instructions from System.

Io. We are then going to copy the second value. We're not going to copy the domain name, however. We're going to copy everything but that, and we're going to head back to GoDaddy. And if you find a conflict and notice that you have a similar record, then you're going to need to delete that record that you're not using. And then what you're going to need to do is save the new record. We can now add the second record, which is going to be a C-name record. We're going to put that value here that we copied. We're going to need to go back to System. Io to get the second value, and we're going to copy that entire value. Now, as of the recording of this video, our registrar-specific instructions state that we should now be checking dnschecker. Org. We should place in our domain name. We are going to check for the C-name record. We're going to click Search. Now you may find that the records have not yet propagated. You may need to wait some time for this to resolve, up to 48 hours. So we're going to stop the video here and we're going to pick it up after this time has passed so we can determine that this process has propagated.

There is one thing you can do while you're building your System. Io. Web presence, and that you can apply to the System. Io. Affiliate Programme. In order to begin your promotion, you can go to the dashboard area. You can then go to this area that says Affiliate dashboard. You'll then see your affiliate link here in this area. This is the link that you can use in order to promote System. Io. Additionally, there are System. Io marketplace offers that you can also promote in order to earn a sales commission. But basically, when you use the System. Io link, you'll be promoting the platform for individuals who do not have a System. Io account. You'll note that you want to make sure you fill out your profile, and once you fill out your profile, you can then click Save. You'll also want to make sure that you have filled out the information for your affiliate account and you'll want to determine how you're going to be paid. You can sell an online course using System. Io. One of the first things that you'll need to do in order to do that is to set up a product.

You are going to go to your product area. You're then going to go to the courses area. You'll then add a new course. You'll see here that there are dialogue boxes for you to fill out. You're going to fill them in. You're going to determine which domain you're going to use, whether you're going to use the system-generated domain or whether you're going to use the domain that you have set up. What you'll do then is you'll then give your course a specific URL. You have control over which theme you're going to use. You can upload an image of the instructor, a logo and then a course cover. We're going to upload all three photos here in this area. Now, if you have a sales page to set up, you can set it up here. However, we have not reached that point yet, so we'll need to come back and connect our sales page. If you're going to include HTML code on your course page, you can do it here in this area. Once you've completed all the items for your digital product or course, you can then click Save. We can then begin to add elements to this course.

If you go to the Ellipsis, you will be going to see the elements that you can add to your course area. We can click on the Curriculum and then you're going to notice that you can add in a module. We then click Save. You'll then have a module. You can then go to the Ellipsis, or you can just click on top of the module, and you can add in a lecture. You can determine how the lecture is going to be experienced, as well as the template for the lecture. If the person will see this particular lecture after a certain number of days, you can write that delay here in this area. This delay here represents a certain number of days in which this particular lecture will be unlocked. We're going to leave this at zero. We're going to choose a specific template. We're then going to save it. And as you'll notice, this module is now ready so that the individual will then be granted access immediately. We are going to pick it up in the next video. Now, the module that's been created has its own set of controls. If you go to the Ellipsis, you're going to notice here you can edit, view or activate this particular module.

What we're going to do here is we're going to edit the module and you're going to notice elements inside the module area that you can customise all of the different elements that you can add or take out of the module. You will see them here in this area. On the left-hand side, you will see blocks. And so this is a way of being able to customise your page. You can add an opt-in block. You can add in a features block to your page, and you'll see the rest of the elements here. And all of these elements are ways that you can customise this area. Since this is a video, we can go to the settings of the video. We can click on the top of the settings button. And what you'll notice here is that this is a specific video type. It is a direct link to a YouTube video, and we can upload a video to the platform to upload a video. We're going to click on this area and we're going to upload our video. We're going to select the file or drag and drop our video. Once you upload your video, you're going to see it here.

We can then insert the video and our video will then be present here in this area. We can do more customization here in this area. Whenever you click on the top of an element, you will see the controls on the left-hand side. If we click on the subtitle, you're going to see the settings to that subtitle here on the left side menu. Now for the sake of this video, we are going to click Save Changes. Basically, this is an area where you can drag and drop elements to customise this specific module for your customers. Save the changes in your module. You'll then want to exit out of the module, which you'll then see, is you'll then have one module complete. In order to add one, you'll need to create another lecture. Again, it's possible that you may want to structure your course so that the student will not see this lecture until a number of days have passed. What you can do is you can turn this into a seven-day delay. You can then set up this page with a specific template. Then you can click Save, which you'll then see is you'll have another lecture that will be ready to customise.

If you want to add another category or module to the course, you can click this button. You can then add in the course module. You can then click Save. What you'll see here is you'll then have another module, and if you click on the top of that module, you'll then be able to start adding in lectures to the module. Now, if you want to see how your course is going to appear, you're going to need to activate the lectures and then you can click the View command. You will then see how your course is actually going to appear. If you want to add students directly, you can click this button and you can then add the student directly. You can determine the level of access the student will actually have. Once you do that, you can then click Save and that student will then be a part of your course. You'll then be able to find that student here in this area. And so you'll see your course in the course tab and you'll be able to track the activity from this point. In order to sell your course, you will need to set up a sales page.

To do that, you're going to go to this Funnel tab. Once you go to the Funnel tab, what you'll do is you'll click this button that says Create. What you'll then do is create a specific sales page and you're going to see some custom templates here. You can start your template from scratch or you can use the template within System. Io. In order to sell your product, you want to give your product a specific name and you'll choose the domain that you're going to be using. You're likely to use the domain that you have set up. That means you now have an editable template that you can use. So what you can do now is click inside of that template and you can begin to use the template that you have. You'll notice here that the template has given us an order form and a thank you page. We're going to create a specific step. We're going to call that step, Sells page, and we're going to choose Sells page. We're going to click Save. We're then going to drag our page to the top. And what we're going to do is we're going to choose a template in order to work with, in order to sell our product.

In this case, we're going to select one template. We're going to give this page a specific URL, and we're then going to click Save. What you can see now is we can edit the page. You'll notice the drag and drop menu is the same and allows us to add elements where we think they need to go. For example, we can drag in a video and then we can make changes to the video by clicking on top of the video. Adding in our video, adding in our video in the element where we want it to be. If we don't like that element, we can click the Undo button and so basically any element that we want to edit. We will click on the top of the element. We're going to see a control panel on the left-hand side menu for that element, and we make any changes that we want it to be. Once we make all our changes, or if you want to save your changes as you go, you can and then click Save Changes. And in terms of the actual appearance of the page, you'll want to make all of your changes and save them.

You'll also then want to preview the changes and you'll be able to see the changes as they're going to appear on your domain when they go live. Before you exit your page setup, you may have noticed that there are two buttons here on the left-hand side. You'll notice that there are page settings. You can click the page settings. These page settings apply to the entire page and not just the elements on the page. We can change the font type on the page and we can change the font style. We can also change the fonts in the heading and we can change the text colour. We can change the background, and if we want to add in a background image, we can add it here. If you have specific requirements for your search engine optimisation for this individual page, you can write that title in here, and you can write in your meta description here in this area. You can also target specific keywords, and you can give your page a specific author. If you're going to have this page shared on social media, what you can do is you can have an image that the page will actually place in the social media for others to see representing what your page is about.

You can upload that image here. We can make it so that the entire page will be hidden from the search engine, or we can make it visible to the search engines. If you're going to have Facebook tracking, you can place that tracking code here in this area. Once you've completed your page customisation settings, you can then save them and you'll be ready to exit the page. If you have saved all the changes that you've made, you're going to see one other button here in this area. In your page editing section, you'll notice that you can have pop-ups for this page. Now, pop-ups are a different part of the platform where you're going to create them. However, you can create them for the page that you were working on, and System. Io gives you a button where you can add a pop-up. For this specific page, we're going to click Add pop-up. What you're going to see here is that you can edit this pop-up in terms of its settings. You can determine whether the pop-up will have a close button. You can determine whether or not the pop-up is going to be on the delay.

You can determine how the pop-up is going to appear and when it's going to appear, when the visitor comes to the page and when the visitor exits the page and when the visitor comes back to the page. You have control over the appearance of the pop-up and you're going to see all of those controls here on the left-hand side menu when you have the pop-up creator selected. We're going to go back and again, all we need to do is, in order to get the pop-up settings, is to click on top of the pop-up settings. Now it could be that you decide you don't want the pop-up to appear. You're going to go back to this pop-up button and you're going to delete the pop-up from this page. You are then going to save your changes. You have now set up a sounds landing page and to view that page, you can click this button that says View Funnel Step. You'll then be able to see what your page will look like. You'll also be able to see what will happen when the individual clicks this button. And you'll notice here that it says that this page is displayed because the thank you page was not defined.

Now, if you intend to use the system. Io as your payment processor, you're going to need to create an order form. Now, it's possible that you could be using another payment processor in your order to set up your sales system. If that's the case, you will go back inside of your sales page, you're going to edit the page, and then every place where you have a buy button, you're going to click on top of that buy button. What you're going to notice here is that you can dictate where that URL goes. Now, in this case, System. Io by default, sends the individual to the next step, URL. However, what you can do is we can send the individual direct to a download. If that was the case, we can send the individual to another URL, which in this case would be your payment processing link. Or we can send the individual to a specific form. Again, in terms of making a purchase, everything depends on where you are going to have the individual make their payment. We're going to exit the sales page and we're going to assume that the individual is going to go for an order form created inside of system.

Io. That means then that we can customise a specific order form. Now we're going to choose one at random. We're going to give this order form a specific URL and we're going to save it. We are now going to have a specific page. You're going to notice here that System. Io wants you to specify what product it's going to be. We're going to state that this is going to be a digital product. We can then specify which resources the customer will get when they complete their order. We're going to go to this area and we're going to go and get the course that we have created. So we're going to specify courses. We're then going to choose the course that we have created. Once we have done all these elements, we can then click Save. Now we can edit that specific page. You're going to notice that you have your editing element here. That means then that just as in other pages, every time we click on a specific element, we're going to bring up the editing elements here on the left-hand side and you'll want to customise your order form. There may be an element that you don't want to be a part of this form.

We can delete that element. If we want to add in the element, we can do that slide again any of the elements that we have available for us here in this area. So you'll be going to be able to customise your order form for the individual to be staged in order to make their payment. You can then click Save Changes. Now if we go back to this hours page and we click View Funnel step and we can click on the buy button, that individual is now going to be taken to the next step in the process, which is going to be in the order form that we have just customised. Within the funnel that you create, you are going to be able to create a thank you page. We're going to come back to the funnel that we created. We're going to click on top of this funnel, and you'll notice here that there is a funnel step that is a thank you page. If you didn't see the page, what we could do is we can remove this page just so you'll be able to see how to add the page. You go to this area, you click create step, you type in thank you page.

You then choose the type of page that you want. You're going to click on the drop down arrow. You're going to find a thank you page and we're going to use the thank you page here. We're going to click Save. What you'll see then is that you have templates available to you in order to customise, and so you'll choose a thank you page template. You'll then select the template. You'll then give your thank you page a name. You'll then save the page. If you need to edit the page, you can go into the page and you can begin to customise individual elements. And every time you click on top of an element, you're going to get a left side menu of Controls that you'll be able to use in order to customise the element. The page will also have settings and you'll be able to customise the settings. When you have completed your changes, you can click Save Changes. What you can do then is preview the page and you'll be able to see what this page will look like for your customers. System. Io does have an auto responder connected to it, and you're going to be able to set it up here in this area that says emails.

You're going to notice that there are three sections: newsletters, campaigns, and then you have a statistics area. What we're going to do first is go to our profile. We'll then go to the settings area. We're then going to go to this area that says emails. Now, in order to make sure that your sending process is going to be correct, you're going to need to click this link here inside of system. Io. In order to authenticate your domain, we're going to click this link, then you're going to authenticate the domain name that you will want to use as you're sending email address. You will then need to add DNA records to your sending domain name. For the sake of this video, we have placed the authentication keys here inside of GoDaddy, and you will see them appear in this manner. We're going to stop the video here, and we're going to come back when the domain is then ready to be used. We have come back to the custom domain section and you're going to notice that the domain that we set up is now ready to use inside of the system. This means that you can now go to the ellipsis and you can go to this area and mark this domain as default.

You're then going to confirm once you do that, your domain will be then the default setting inside of system. Io. That means now that you can go into the domain settings and you can edit your login page. If you like the login as is or you want to make changes, you can make them here. Otherwise, you can't save the changes. And then your login page will be ready. You can edit your 404 page. This will be the page that people will come to if they type in something wrong, but they get the right domain. We can make changes to this page, add some branding elements, and then save the page. We can then exit back to our domain settings. We'll then need to go back inside of the Ellipsis, and you'll notice that we can restore or we can use this 404 page. We can now upload a Favicon, and you're going to see here that this icon will be the icon associated with your brand and will appear on all your pages. We can upload an image here in this area. We can also set up an email address so that we can be contacted.

So we're going to write in an email address that we are going to answer the email. Optionally, we can set up reCAPTCHA settings for our domain. And what this does, it is helping to protect our site from spam. So highly recommended you fill that in. If we're going to have a Facebook conversion pixel, we will add it here and we can add our logo here for the domain. Once our settings have been added, we can then click Save and we can go to our domain name and we'll see the 404 page since we currently do not have a homepage. We are now inside our settings area, and one thing you're going to need to do is to go to your email section and you're going to need to make sure that your email is going to be confirmed and verified. Now, what you'll notice here is that there is an email that has been confirmed and that email is the same as the domain name that we have just set up inside of system. Io, and that is the process you're going to need to go through. You're going to need to write in an email address, and then you're going to need to add a new sender email.

Once you write in that email that you want to use as a sender email, you can make sure that it's going to be done according to the domain name that you have set up. You're then going to click Save. What you're then going to notice is that this domain name is now pending and you're going to need to confirm your email address. And the next part of the process is you're going to go to that email inbox where a test email is going to be sent and you're going to need to confirm that email address by clicking on the link. And when you send a newsletter, you're going to want to use that email address here in this area. And when you're ready to create a newsletter, you're going to save the new email address. You're going to need to make sure that the sender address has the domain name that you have set up when you are sending. And as you can see here inside of the newsletter creation facility, that's going to be the case with all of the emails that you send. Once you've set up your newsletters and your emails, one thing you'll want to do is to make sure that your customer is able to start getting email communications with you once you've actually made a sell.

And the simplest way to start that process is to go to your automations area. We're going to look at the rules. We're going to create a rule and we're going to have the trigger to be when a new sale is made. System. O will then allow you to specify where that new sale is made. We're going to specify one of our products. What we're then going to do is to specify the funnel step that needs to be taken before an email is sent. We have specified when the customer gets to the order form, we want an action to be taken. What we're then going to do is to come to this area. We're going to add an action. So there are a number of ways for us to send an email. We can automate the process with a tag. We can subscribe the individual to a specific campaign. And if we're using an external system, we can also use a web hook. So in this case, one thing we can do is we're going to add on a tag. We're now going to specify the tag. We're going to add on the tag we're going to add on.

The tag we're going to create here is we're going to subscribe the individual to a specific campaign. Now if you've already set up a campaign, you can specify that campaign by using your drop-down menu. We are going to add this individual to a specific email campaign, and we're going to save the rule. What we've basically done is we've made it so that when we sell a specific product, the individual is going to be added to a specific email campaign to start getting pre-written emails that you have already set up. Now that you have your settings in order, you can go to the email section. You can go either to Newsletters or you can go to Campaigns. We will start with the newsletters. We're going to click Create. You can then create a newsletter. Now what you're going to see is that your sender email by default is going to be your account email. You're going to need to change that to your sending email. You can select either the classic editor or the visual editor. For the sake of this video, we're going to click the classic editor and then click Save. It means now that we can either go to our Ellipsis and we can edit our newsletter, or we can click on top of the newsletter.

It's here where we can basically write out our message. If we want to add an attachment, we can add it here. We can determine who among our contacts will receive the email. So, for example, you'll see here that we can send emails to contacts who have registered over a certain number of days or individuals who have certain tags that we have designated in our system. We can use personalisation tokens. For example, if we were to copy this personalisation token and place it inside of our email, what would happen is that this email is being sent. Everyone to whom we have a first name will see their first name in the emails that they are sent. And you can use other personalisation tokens here in this section as well. Once you have written your email, you can save it and test it, you can save it and send it, or you can save it and schedule it. What we're going to do now for the sake of this video, is click Save. Now, if you've clicked Save and Send, you'll be sending to all of your contacts. If you click Save and Schedule, you'll be sending this email to your contacts at a later date.

You can also set up a campaign with the System. Io email system. If you go to this area and you click on this link, you can click on Campaigns. You can then click this button that says Create a Campaign. You'll then save the campaign. The campaign will then be in this area, which you'll notice is that you have settings available to you at the Ellipsis. In order to customise the campaign, we're going to click this area. What we're then going to do is we're going to click this button that says Create, and we are going to create campaign step. We have a sender name, which is by default, but we can change the sender name if that's what we want to do. The most important element is going to be that you're going to need to ensure the sender email is correct. Now, what you'll notice here is that the account email is here by default. What we're going to do is we're going to write in the Sending Email domain. We're now going to save and publish our email. Now inside of our campaigns, we're going to get settings for our campaign. We can basically dictate when this email is sent, in what order of all of our emails that this email is sent before the email is sent here in this area.

And so what we're saying here is that when we say it's a zero delay, it's that as soon as the individual is added to this campaign, we want them to receive the email we have just written immediately. So when you're doing a campaign, you're basically going to be writing individual emails that people will get automatically. In some cases, this is called an auto responder. Once you have made all of your changes here in the activation area, then you need to click Activate. And what you now have is an email that will behave according to your specific rules. If you visit the domain name that you have just set up, if you have not set up anything in the root domain, what you're going to find is that the visitor would actually go to your 404 error page. So there really is not a page set up on your homepage of the domain that you have set up with system. Io. So we're going to give this blog a name. We're going to decide to use the domain name that we have connected to our system. Io account. And what you're going to notice here is that the URL path is going to change.

Now what we're going to do is we're going to leave this blank because we're going to have the blog set up as our root domain. We then click Save. And now system. Io has saved our new URL, which is basically going to be our blog. So now we can go and view that page and that page is going to be our home page. Basically, this is the template that we have set up, and of course, is now customised, though, as you see the dummy language on the page. We have now set up a homepage and a website. One of the elements that System. Io allows you to do is to create a community. You can go to your products tab and you're going to see here that there is a tab for communities. You can click that link. What you can do then is click create. You can then give your community a name. You can choose your domain. You can then choose a specific path. You're going to get a path by default. You can then change that path. You're going to be asked to make a decision whether or not posts are going to be approved automatically.

You can then click Disabled or you can click enabled, we can then click Save. You'll then see your URL for the community. You can then go into the community. You're then going to have elements that you can edit. What you'll see first is that you can start the process by adding the post. If you want to add images, you can add them. If you want to add emotion comms, you can add them. And you can also add a cover image here in this area. We are then going to click Add Post. Now you'll notice here that we do need to have a topic. We're going to close out this area. We're going to add a new topic. We are then going to click Add Topic. We're then going to come back and add a post, which you'll then see is your topic area, and you can then add your post. What you'll see then is that your post is in added and it will be open for discussion. If you currently don't have members, you can click on the members area and you can then click this button to invite new members.
